i like the storm trooper look.. now some wheels that arent 14 yrs old would look a lot better on there

Ask and ye shall receive! :)

Got the wheels & tint yesterday!

The Civic's panda theme lives on. :headbang:

I got hassled by the KPD just getting these pics, tmrw is supposed to be shitty weather-wise, but maybe some better pics will be taken then.

Tint pics during the daylight before I went to get the wheels:

And yes; I realize it needs to be lowered, i'm not gonna do that real soon but it will be lowered slightly at some point, all in good time.

Uhh, its his car, let him do what he wants with it.

Ok maybe I wasn't clear enough when I said "I know were not making payments but..." I don't care what he does it is his car but just like taking your car to a show, when putting it on the internet you're going to get it judged by the viewing public. you can't please everyone and people are gonna voice their liking and distaste just alike. Just like seeing a riced out car covered in cheap graphics it may be his car but youre not going to cringe any less because of it. the newly painted rims and tint look good.

Hey!

I just saw this car on fitfreak.

Don't let anyone give you shit. I have a huge fucking antenna on my car.

Thanks guys, I do plan on lowering the car; just maybe not in the near future. I don't really want to worry about my warranty being voided because of lowering the car.

And yeah FitFreak wasn't too accepting, but like i've said; i'm paying for the car and doing what I want to do, not doing it for anyone else but me! If you like how it looks; cool. If you don't, thats cool too, if we all liked the same things it'd be a real boring world!

It's the internet. Everyone thinks they have to prove themselves. Fuck 'em.

Eh i'm the opposite, I don't have to please anyone to be happy with what I have, its not worth trying to please other people.

Well said. If I didnt feel this way as well I'd never have bit the bullet and bought my 2000 Si. I am and have been brought up an avid General Motors enthusiast and so had never given owning a Honda or any import for that matter (except for the usual Skylines, Supras, etc.) a second thought. But a move to Chicago in the dead of winter with only a Camaro and a GSXR led me to buy the Si. As much crap as I got for buying it from the friends and family I really do like the car.

Nice to see that you went against the grain and made a smart purchase! ;)

Yea. I wanted to hate it so bad but I just couldn't. Now I'm hoping riding weather will be here to stay soon so I wont be so tempted to throw money at it knowing just how much potential it has. I just want to do pretty much the same thing as you; wheels, window tint, a possible lowering, maybe some stock style fog lights and call it a day. I've got enough tied up in the Camaro.

from the looks of the EF, i doubt this will ever get lowered

I don't know what you mean by that, the ef is lowered on h&r race springs with Koni yellows. I just don't like having to worry about dragging over speed bumps and the like.

maybe it is..:shrug2: but from that pic, the EF looks higher than the Fit.. Fit looks better with the new wheels.. me and my fiance almost bought a Fit last year

Nah the fit is higher, but the ef doesn't sit that low, it really doesn't. But they are the race springs from h&r.
