Just found a dude with a 98 mustang gt 90k miles and all stock... He wants 5500 for it or trade fro a sedan... Ooohhh yea i have a neon! lol
Dunno if I wanna trade tho... I loves my lil neon... shit, the best part is yours truly paid 3k for it and its worth more than twice that! Haven't seen this stang yet tho... idk you guys think I should check it out or just forget it?

Almost ready to pull the head and intake manifold as a whole. Everything is detached except for the head bolts. I'll pull the rest tonight.

I went out, bought a Fel-Pro headgasket for $51 and took the head off. And guess what I found underneath...the plastic guarding around the cam gear was melted to nothing, I mean NOTHING, the cylinder walls were really rough, all 4 of them. Un-even wear and rough to the touch.
The guy must have got that thing SMOKIN' hot.
Doesn't really matter because we're putting a D15B2 in there.
Looks like I have a new block to bore out and re-build.

The little B2 is almost ready! The Si intake manifold is on there, the wiring harnes is on, every thing is ready to go except I can't get a timing belt until tonight. Swap will probably be tomorrow if not Sunday.

The old motor is out, my dad and I have pulled so many EF motors that we have it down to an art. We did this one in the dark (10:30 at night) with one trouble light. Does anyone else pull motors with the axles still in the car like we do?
New motor is being installed tomorrow.
