Not much of a story. I was driving to a friends around the corner. Only problem is said corner was a sheet of black ice. I started sliding at about 20mph as I was coming in towards the turn, nothing I could do. Aimed for the grassy front yard as well as I could but it wasn't well enough. It was around midnight in a dimly lit neighborhood so it was even harder to tell.

I havent looked it over thoroughly, but from what I can see I'm pretty sure it'll buff right out.

Oh and I just noticed i lost my damn Corvette badge! D:
Yes, you read that right. I was rocking a Vette badge on my POS Si. lol

I'm good on the JDM y0... As said the difference is negligible anyway. I'm gonna hit the junkyards and see what I can find. I'm in no rush.

Time to carbon fiber the front end!

Shit I may just part it out and move on. Or pick up a cheap EF hatch and swap in my Si goodies. This car has been nothin but problems for me. At the progressively bad rate its going, the next mishap will kill me for sure. And ill be damned if I'm gonna die in a shitty Honda!!!

No thanks. Is be in even worse shape. Broken shitty car > no car.

let me know if you decide to part

Late update. I came to find that I bent my core support and broke the mounts on my passenger side headlight. Haven't done much to it. Been looking for a suitable hatch (preferably sans drivetrain for costs sake) to swap the engine/trans/suspension/interior to but they're hard to come by apparently. BUT, I came across a Si front clip online today for $450. So the question now is

a. Buy the clip, find a core support, and still have a high mileage chassis with other body damage issues elsewhere.
b. Continue looking for a hatch (or coupe if all else fails) and hope to somehow find a decent enough example and go from there.
Or, c. Part the thing out and take a huge loss just to get out of Hondas altogether and hope to get enough to buy or put towards a decent replacement.

I'm not so much "emotionally" tied to this car as monitarily. Some kjow Ive gone through a lot of shit with this car and I've dumped a lot of cash in it. So parting It out is a worst case scenario, but none of these options are very good cases anyway. Haha

if my hatch wasnt so modded id sell it to you :(

if i were you, id buy the clip. it sucks that you wrecked your car, but it seems more logical to just get it back to running/driving condition and go from there. the damn thing will run forever, and even if it does need a new engine at some point theyre a dime a dozen... not to mention you have about 5 different options for just the bottom end alone

getting another car and transferring parts seems like too much work, and youll likely end up investing even more into the project

parting the car is just a bad idea. you could probably sell the shell if it is still clean title, which might help your cause a little

:werd: he'll show up with one of these
