2 dudes giving each other an old fashion'd in the backseat would make the car less gay

damn, i dont have it that much...

the stretched tires are stupid but other than that its just a low ass car. dumped cars are cool to look at at car shows, and thats about it. ive seen a lot of new model civics that look better than this one.

It CAN look good when it's done correctly. The civic, is not done correctly.

I think this genesis, is.

such cheap wheels...Lame.

The wheels era and the cars era completely don't match...Lame.

Fail!!!

not to be a dick, but say that to all the hot rod guys because putting newer style rims is the style on older cars.

It looks like the kit Cal posted would allow a high performance vehicle to retain its handling characteristics. Whereas Reds will make it a bouncy piece of shit. Completely different goals there.

not if you use accumulators....

 that thing is bad as hell!!!

Consider the overall aesthetics. Not so bad from an artistic standpoint.

Yeah of course- two different goals.

As far as stretch- some of the cars on Stance Nation are using 165s on 9.5" wheels. Crazy.

Thin tires look great, but if you live where the have roads, they are useless. First time out on a regular street, and your thousands of dollars spent on wheels end up in the toilet. Buying drugs would be a better investment. I guess you could just have a couple sets of wheels and tires; one set for driving, and another for the show.

Thin tires look retarded. Re-tar-ded. Plain and simple. That Genesis looks nice, but imagine how much nicer it would be if the got that damn camber in check. Again, retarded.

But thats an upgrade, not a pointless downgrade. Bigger modern wheels accent older cars lines nicely, those older style wheel murder the 8th gens already horrendous lines.

Who said "murdered out?" I said murder, as in kill, mangle. I know what murdered out means and how to use/identify it being used.

True, unless its already in spec. Like the 350/370z's they come with neg camber from factory. Its possible this genesis does too.

I also agree that stretched tires look dumb.

I dont think that Genesis is in spec. Haha But yea, if its within the performance window of +/- and used as such, ok. But if its for a lame look...

Is the owner of the car a VW guy. A few guys near me have extremely low golfs with stretched tires.

First of all, the Genesis has mild negative camber.

Second, almost every car ever made comes set with negative camber from the factory. 0 camber on a strut style vehicle would be atrocious. Not sure why? Maybe you should read up on camber gain and cornering...
