how do I unlock the Radio code for honda accord 2003 with serial no. M4G478020

look in your owners manual .. it should be in there somewhere.. if not, you gotta go to Honda

Should be an anti theft radio card in the owner's book. If not, check every single page of the manual. Look for any random numbers in ink pen or a small black and white sticker. If not there, check under the under hood fuse cover. If those all strike out, head to your dealer. They can look it up by vin number. And don't let them tell you they can't. I know for a fact that they can. It requires a phone call usually.

:werd: Mofos tried to tell me I had to let them pull the radio out and take some numbers down too. AND it would be two hours worth of labor. Good thing I knew better.

call the dealer.. ask for the parts department... if the guy there is cool, he will give you the code... try a few dealers... ive done it a few times... good luck!!

The dealer is given three stickers, one goes on the pre delivery inspection (PDI) repair order (RO), one is placed on the anti theft radio code card and the other can be hidden somewhere or simply thrown out. I used to put them on the glove box out of site so that it could be found when the glove box was removed.

You can try holding down the 1 and 6 key on your radio, this may or may not flash the radio's serial number. The dealer can use the Honda radio's serial number on in.honda.com to get the radio code.

Or if the dealer that sold the car is smart they should have it documented on the PDI RO.

By "I used to put them" I meant tie extra sticker...

This works on some Honda radios, not all. I don't remember which ones. I quit fixing Honda's in 2006.
