I have a 2000 ex with a stock y8.... i purchased a Bosch oem replacememt cap and rotor because my old one has some corosion on it. So i take out the old one cap and rotor and replace it, put the plug wires on in the exact same order they came off try to start the car, it runs for a few seconds horribly then dies. I then put the old cap back on with the new rotor put everyrhing back together and it will just crank not start. I put all the old stuff back on and bam it starts no problem. Does anyone have some insight as to what would cause this, btw its not my coil obviously and also not my fuel because i have a fuel pressure gauge and its reading normal.

I just recently bought a distributor for my 1.5 Honda civic hatchback 1991, and it wouldn't run, just bearly when I checked the rotory button was different, and when u lined up the part that fits the cam, on tdc the rotor button was advanced a lot more the in the new one, I took pics and sent to duralast, the degrees should be the same, if you know what I am talking about.

It's also worth noting that Bosch is not the Oem supplier.
