Yes i have a 92 honda prelude si (h23a1) and i'm going to swap an h22a1 into it. What i was wondering is i have a chance to buy a h22a1 usdm motor from a 96 honda prelude. It will come with everything i need, but i was wondering about the wiring since it is obd2. Will the wiring of this motor be a pain and not worth the hassel or is it no big deal and i should go with, or just wait for an obd1 motor to come along. Let me know

In that situation, I would convert the engine to OBD1. You could use a conversion harness, but the distributor is different, and so the wiring is different. I think you may be able to use your H23 distributor, but you'd have to buy H22 OBD 1 injectors.

That's to the best of my knowledge, I haven't done a conversion.

^yeah thats correct

If i were you, id just wait for the obd1 motor and then have everything be plug and play and will also match the obd of your car.
