too bad foxed just signed a contract for 4 more years of BCS. bcs is horrible, but a playoff will allow an opportunity for an upset.

if a 9-2 team beat a team in the playoffs that was 11-0 they would be screaming to get back to the BCS because upsets are bad for ratings.

I don't have a problem with Florida being picked because Ohio hasn't played them yet. They beat Michigan already so let's see how they do to someone they haven't played. I want florida to win but Ohio is way too strong...they might fall like USC did to Texas though so we'll see...:D

the bcs had to pick florida. it was basically a lack of options. usc lost, they already beat michigan, and boise state literally plays in a WAC ass conference. the BCS will be fucked when 3 teams go 13-0. but it won't happen, they keep getting lucky as fuck.

The BCS did the right thing, well, all they could do.

well a couple years back there were 3 undefeated teams if i remember correctly...that was when Auburn got dicked out of the championship...

you are right, they were undefeated but they were also ranked #3 in the coaches and AP poll. so i guess it worked out the same.

yeah but coaches and what-not are biased, I don't care how much they say they aren't... people have emotions, gut feelings, ect... and it plays a role in making thier decisions.

Florida only beat Michigan in the polls because Florida beat, I forgot what team, by like 16 points and Michigan beat that same team by like 10 points. The BCS is bullshit half the time. Plus, it's a game, anything can happen.

That being said, a play-off would be way more accurate then any computers, coaches, and polls could ever be.

Here's how it went: "USC lost, shit we cant get them in now....what's our next biggest market? Florida! Cool."

it would be crazy if boise state really had that good of a team to beat ohio state...but since they play all of the rinkydink schools...they wont ever get that chance...i bet a playoff would be good in that since...just to see if boise state is up to ohio state's calibur

They'd get torn up like a Kleenex at a snot party.

EDIT: This is equivalent to when my roomate tried to remind me that Wisconsin went like 11-1. They play Bowling Green.....the only hard team they played - Michigan - killed them.

this discussion makes baby jesus cry.

NY beat dallas last time they played, but when they played last week, Dallas came up on top (not by much, but still won).

Whats to say a team that ohio has already beaten wont beat them the second time around.

the fact that ohio state isn't plagued by injuries or egos. college football is totally different from the nfl.

im sorry but all i heard was blah blah blah im a dirty tramp.

i dont watch college football at all, so take my comments with a grain of salt.
