i friend of mines is telling me to get a long block for my car because i blow my LS? soi would like to know what is a long block

It's the head and short block still bolted together, usually without any external accessories...like intake/exhaust manifolds, distributor, alternator, etc..

so basicly i will have totake everything else frommy old motor

Pretty much. Anything that doesn't come with your new longblock will have to come off of the old one.

now whats better a B20 or B18b and arround how much those blocks runs

ok i have a EG with a LS engine GSR tranny dc sport headers and full cat back nothing big but one of my rods it bent so my engyne is not working and i need to fix these
quick soidont know what to get a B20 o B 18 theya re about the same price

Well, the B20 will have more torque than the B18. The B20B will have less horsepower and the B20Z will have more horsepower. One of the two is better but I don't remember which one. Go ahead and do some research on them.

so youdont recomend either or sowhat would be the best bet for me i really wanta GSR but im in abudget so i cant afford it ,

No, I believe its a circle.

I recommend that you do a search for the two different blocks. Type in B20Z or B20B as your criteria. I could go look it up for you but you'll learn more if you do it yourself.
