What's up all. So I just finished my basic swap and am pretty pleased. The car is fast. But it needs to be polished off still.
Basically:
Motor mounted in chasis fine.
I had to turn the key for like 6 seconds and the thing came alive!
The ITR intake doesn't bolt down very well.
The headers ended up not bolting up to the exhaust since the diameters don't match, also about a 1 1/2" gap.
So, it looks like a CARB legal cat and cat back exhaust are in order. I just tied the exhaust together with coat hangers for this next week but... The car is friggin loud! It won't do, I just push the clutch in around cops for now...
What are some of the more quiet exhausts that still make decent power while staying legal too?
Are other cats able to pass Cali SMOG besides the USDM OEM Honda ones?
What do you guys think? Checkit!!
