hello,
I have '93 EH9 running on stock D16Z6...
i would like to know what are the possible swap? and which is good?
any modification required?
i like to have the same 1.6L motor
 
well there are the d16y8 and the d16y7, or you can go for a b-series. i personally love the d series. my d16z6 is pushing out 400hp and 370tq. it took about 6,000 to get there. good running car with no problems whatsoever.
 
i did dyno tune for afc neo yesterday and recorded max 96hp on my stock z6. on paper it's 125hp. but you can go up to 400hp... that's a lot.
 
takes a bit to get there but it can be done.
 
B series def. You guys and your d's. There is a reason SIR's came with b16's instead of turbo d16s.

yeah it was easier to drop in an n/a motor rather than change the platform around to fit hte turbo...they can push out cars faster if they don't have to mess with putting the turbo together. that and they didn't want to have to change the ecu interface...
