head question

I have a buddy who just got a 94 integra and i have a head from my gsr. now will a head from a b18c fit on a b18b?

technically you don't but it's better if you do have it your looking at about 500 in parts right their

No. Why would you need a "gsr" oil pump if your running a "gsr" water pump?

gsr oil pumps give you alot more oil flow than a ls.... wich is a must when ur doing ls/vtec..... thats what im doin and i went to honda and bought a new one......it was like $130 with my friends discount.....

lsvtechatch91 - proof? As a matter of fact, judging by part numbers from 96+ b series oil pumps all had the same part numbers... that being 15100-P72-A01 where as 90-95 oil pumps had the following part number 15100-PR4-A03. The part number 15100-P72-A01 doesn't just apply for GSR's... it goes for the LS, ITR and GSR.

I bought my "itr" oil pump brand new for $90.

The timing belt has NOTHING to do with the oil pump. The timing belt does not drive the oil pump, the crank shaft does. The timing belt rides on a gear located on the snout of the crankshaft.

wow i royally fucked that, i'm completely wrong on the oil pump and timing belt thing, its always match the timing belt to the water pump not oil pump, wow... just wow... i apologize brian was right

haa... thats funny. i was just making sure you werent confusing yourself...

and yea, proof that the "vtec" oil pump flows better... than a "nonvtec" oil pump.
