Will a D16a6 engine/tranny from a 91 si, bolt right in a 95 civic? thinking of buying the engine/tranny, etc. but don't know if it will fit right in(bolt in engine mounts).?? haven't bought engine yet.

the engine will bolt in if you swap the mount on the driver's side end of the block - the transmission will not bolt in (mount are different) nor will it work - the 91 transmission has a cable actuated clutch where the 95 Civic has a hydraulic actuated clutch - the 91 engine is OBD0 where the 95 Civic is OBD1, so some wiring changes would need to be done

If I were you I would look into the z6 motor and tranny.
