Need Help suggestions

hi I need some advice I just got this hooked up 92 Honda Prelude Si(Hooked up Body) for a good price......you know the 2.3....How can I make it a vtec.... Ive heard a lot about the LS swap....and some people told me to drop a h22 head on it.....and also its an automatic and I want to make it a 5speed........What should i do First?...or any suggestions??/

Hey eMans92lude!

I don't know that much about preludes but I will try my best.
I like the current engine in your bay is a H23a1. Yes if you replace the top with an H22 Vtec head it will be vtec aslong as you hook everything up right. I am pertty sure the head bolts up with the h23a1 but I can't be certain. To make the car 5 speed just get a 5 speed tranny for that engine and bolt it where the automatic one was.
Check your engine code then read a little bit on match up heads for it with vtec and you should be okay. Hope this helps

Well what do you want to do exactly? If you want v Tec you can pick up the v tec head for that block cheap anywhere... If you want the 5speed tranny, get a H series tranny. To be safe just get one off your car but 5 speed. There is alot of pull it junk yards around and if you have a friend that knows what hes doing, you guys should be able to pull whatever you want from there in a few hours and leave real happy.
