+1. it would be easier to rebuild the engine already in there.any motor you put in it will take 100% custom job with cutting and welding, but the b20 that are in preludes are junk
I'm pretty sure a K20 won't fit in that car but I'm not sure it has been attempted. I think it is to tall. You would have no hood, or 0" of clearance, maybe both?
i almost picked up a 1971 n600 and i planned on putting a hayabusa 1300cc motor in it and switching it to rear wheel... the trans axle alone would have been 2 g's to custom fit the 6 speed that comes with the motor... that would have been a 8000 dollar swap in parts alone...
i know what you meant the first time i read it, i guess alot off ppl dont know that the 600s all had motorcycle motors in themits cool i never expect people to understand but i have seen videos of hayabusa cars and they are something else...
have you ever saw a civic 600 ? there not your normal 1st gen civic there super small, and they are powerd by motorcycle motorsI've never heard of swapping motorcycle motors into a car chassis ever. Only into one of those custom buggy things with 4 wheels that go off road. That is it. weird. but hey, sound like a plan if that is what you want to do. And since its a 1st gen civic, it should fit without a problem. Though you will still run the problem of custom fabing everything to fit and work in it.
