B16a1 to 1990 civic si hatch

hey everyone, i've got a b16a1 for my 90 civic si hatch and it came with a pr3 comp, just wondering how to run the wires for the vtec to make it all work

here's what I used
hope this helps, if I remember right my knock sensor was the one that didn't already have a pin, I just stripped the wire and put it into the harness, not the best method but I couln't find the right pin at the junkyard.

B16 a1 Vtec wiring for 1990 civic si

well everything works fone with that schematic except for where the vtec solenoid is supposed to wire into. The A8 slot on my 1990 civic si wire harness already has a wire running to it. In the manual it says that the pre existing wire runs to the control box and connects to the cold adjust solenoig valve. should i remove it and put the vtec solenoid wire there in the A8 spot or do i need to do some re routing?
