Having problems

I had a problem with my turn signals a while ago and a hazard switch fixed that problem but now....i have a new one.

i had the tuen signal and back up lights fuse blow. i replaced it and a day later i saw smoke coming from the steering colum when the turn signals were on but since then the turn signals have been working but the hazards havent.

My turn signals work but the hazard switch doesnt. i have power going to the back of the hazard switch but when i flip it on theres nothing coming out. and if i turn the turn signals on and the hazards on nothing happens but if i turn the harzard off with the turn siganl still on, they work fine both directions.

i cant figure it out please help!!

check the wiring,,there is either a fayed wire and its shorting out,,or the wiring was hacked together incorrectly
