91 Hatch

Ok so heres the deal Im getting ready to buy a 91 hatch. It has the D15 in it. It has an OEM sunroof. I havent got to look under the hood to see if its MPFI (Hopefully) or DPFI. I dont want to do the conversion again. My question is if the car has the OEM sunroof and a 5 speed is that a giveaway that it has MPFI?? I couldnt tell if it had rear discs or not it was way to dark and I was in a hurry. Thanks

If you haven't looked under the hood then how do you know what engine it has?

in the add the guy wrote that it had the 1.5L and that it had power steering and looking at the pics I noticed it had a sunroof. When I looked at the car it was dark the owner wasnt there He didnt speak english the car was locked so I couldnt look under the hood

I think if it has a sunroof it would be an Si making it MPFI.

Heres wat i know if its an Si model, ready? ok the Si has Fuel injected manifold, sun roof, RPM gauge, black cloth seats with square head rest the rear seats are black too, center console, and if you realy want to verify it check the exhaust tip the Si's come with 2 tips. Thats how i know its an Si but most people change all that shit, but thats how it came in those years. I hope this helps man, aight then peace.......

or you could just look at the sunrrof,interior,and wheels

the car is 1.6 unless the car was downgraded to a 1.5
and it is mpfi

Well to my very own dissmay the car is DPFI. I will have to change it after all. DAMN NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I though only 88-91 civic hatch Si came with the 1.5 and the CRX Si came with a 1.6???

Well I have seen both Rexs and Hatchs with both the 16 and the 15 so its just meer luck that I run into one that I have to change just like my last one. Although this one will be easier than my last one considering my last one started its life as a 1.3 with a carb. Belive me that was a pain in the ass having to change everything from the tank to the mani to the dizzy and every wire from head lights to tail lights in order to make it all work.
