Hey HS
I have an em1 ('00 civic si) and my pockets aren't deep and I have expenses. So in light of my desire for displacement and lack of money, my mechanic told me to grab a b20 block
(which aren't expensive) and drop it in with my si tranee and head (using the b20 crank). He also said to...
ok so i was out there..... and i couldnt find anything to kick it. this kick panel, is it under the dash? under the glovebox?
please bear with me, sorry
david
thank you
...but...whats a kick panel? is it something i can pull out like the fusebox cover?
and also what do i do from there to determine if its a p28
thank you civicious
ya i know this sounds crazy
i bought an em1 almost 2 months ago and a mechanic who looked at it for me said i was runnin a stock p28. somethings he says arent entirely true so i wanted to check it out for myself. how do i pull that bad boy out of there? (im thinkin theres an easy way)...
so whats the verdict my friend?
ive heard awesome things about the k24 with type-s head.
and if you're gonna build up the motor, whats the point in going with the base type rsx motor (it has low compression ratio)?
also i dont believe there are much differences in the BLOCK of a k20a or...
i guess 1600 was a litle too much
someone take the motor off my hands for 1300
the motor is from the BASE rsx;
for 1300 u can grab the body too (it had a COD though)
