    d16 into an integra

Thanks for the replies. well, I'm hoping that I already have everything needed to complete both swaps, so all it would cost is my time. Compared to the $1,000 I would need to buy a complete b18 swap. I know it would be better, but I'm cheap, lol. I'm going to be the one driving the car, not...

    d16 into an integra

Alright before I get a bunch of flames about how retarded it would be to have a d series in an integra, save your words, i already know. Short backround on the situation. I have two cars. A 1995 integra with a built b18c1 and a stock 1993 civic si hatchback. The unibody on my integra is...

ls integra w/ b18c1 still throwing code...

I figured out the problem. It's the IAB. I know it needs to be grounded to a 12V source, but where? My car is a 1997 integrals(obd2) and the motor is obd1. So I need to changethe IAB from positive to negative, but how?

ls integra w/ b18c1 still throwing code...

I swapped a b18c1 into a integra ls last july. Everything works fine, vtec engages, the secondaries in the intake manifold open. The problem is that I still get a check engine code. I wired 4 things when i did the swap: knock sensor vtec selnoid vtec oil pressure switch intake manifold...

Integra engine switch type-r or gsr

I swaped a gsr motor into my ls. I found a toatled gsr and took the motor, sold my ls motor and some other stuff from the gsr and eneded up breaking even money wise. Now I have a dpr stage 6 head on my gsr block, and it is much much faster than a itr. Keeps you eyes out for deals. Even with...

    OBD1 Ls To OBD2 GSR

I just did the same swap about two months ao. I had no problems with the ps. Use an obd1 ecu and you will be fine. 4 wires to get the vtec working and your in business. Do a clutch before you drop the motor in too. You need to use the ls header and gsr throttle cable. It is really a very...

    NO VTEC ENGAGNEMENT

Where are your im secindaries? They are inside of you intake manifold. There is a plug with two wires on the left side of the intake manifold. Get an integra wire schmatic. It will tell you what color.

    NO VTEC ENGAGNEMENT

You need to wire the secondaries in the im. Does your car hit rev lim at like 7k? I had to run 4 wires for vtec to work in my dc4. vtec selinoid, vtec oil press., knock sensor, and im secondaries.

    wireing b18c1

I wired mine to my jumper harness. This is not the best idea, especially because you don't need a jumper harness. You should get the pins for your ecu and wire it directly to your ecu.

obd1 gsr in obd2 lx civic

It will run just fine with the conversion harness with the p72. YOu will most likely need to run vtec wires and whatever elce wires that differ between a lx and gsr.
