yeah i checked the continuity in all the wires that go from the distributor to the ecu and the one orange one (which is one of the 2 for the CYP sensor) didnt have any current flowing through it so i rewired it and the check engine light went off. But the car still hesitates slightly when...
yeah i swapped from a D15B8 but the map sensor was in the same place on both, im running the one that was on the old D15 on my new engine. They both have the same numbers on top and the same plug so i figured they were the same. Are you saying that there is another one somewhere?
Thanks
Well heres the deal. Swapped a D16Z6 into my 92 Hatch about 2 months back and have had some problems with it. First off it only does this when it gets up to temperature but it bogs down alot to the point in which it nearly stalls after accelerating above or around 5 or 6000rpms. I set the idle...
yeah... i am thinking that it has something to do with the fuel whether it is running too rich, too lean, or the pressure is too high or too low because it smokes a little when i accelerate and its not like the smoke that came out of my old engine that shot little spots of oil all over my car...
yeah i did change the computer over it came out of the car the engine was in.
and back to the vtec ground wire, is that a wire aside from the plug that plugs into the solenoid like a ground wire to the engine itself or is it built into the plug?
ok... well i put the old dizzy on and it didnt make a difference at all... so i just drove the car around for about an hour to see how it would proform when it got hot.
Heres what i got out of my drive:
1. When hot it doesnt accelerate hardly at all until about 2800-3200rpms (bogs out)
2...
well i know the grounds are good because i bought all new wires and wire brushed all the contact points and put a little contact grease on all of them so they should be fine. But i will check the dizzy. I still have the one off my old d series and it worked fine so i will give it a shot. Thanks
Heres the problem,
I just put a D16Z6 in my 92 hatch and it runs alot better than the old D15B8 that was in there aside from a few things.
First off it accelerates extremely slow in first gear for some reason until it hits a certain rpm then it just takes off. But idk whats wrong with it...
I deff. agree with that! I used to play halo 3 alot but then CoD 4 came out and i have been playing it alot more than halo 3 but every once in a while i will throw it in and play it... i would have to agree that the milti-player is much better on CoD 4 than halo 3 in my opinion

haha... this reminds me of a funny story... so in 1987 my uncle buys a brand new CRX Si. He has the car for about a week and lets his girlfriend drive it... she hit a guard rail and somehow completely screwed up every panel down both sides and the front end... I obviously wasnt born when it...
This is kinda funny... "...when a rioting mob of up to 500 youths pelted officers with rocks and bottles, and smashed police cars." Who would throw shit at the cops when they are responding to a domestic disturbance call?

hey guys... and thanks for the replys! I would obviously rather get a B series engine but seeing as i am still in HS i think that i may just go with the D15B since the car is a DD. Also i know like 4 guys with B series and they all blew them up and if i spent everything that i had on an engine...
