Alright guys...I am in need of some help. I have a 96 Del Sol Si and I need a new ECU. Now I have looked at my ECU but it says that it is a P28. However I know my car is an OBD2a car and P28's are OBD1. Everywhere I read says that I should have a P2P in my car witch goes with the D16y8...
Just so you know you can buy Trunk lock cylinders anywhere like Autozone or Pep Boys. I'm just saying that you don't have to get them through Honda. I am glad to hear that you got it out though.
Hey YBLEGAL. Thanks for the bit of information it is still good to understand the tuning that is going on but I will tell that the basemap was set up for the injectors and everything else I have done to my car. And yes I did know what it was meant for. I was also told that since my basemap...
Yeah the 440's were in after the ECU was chipped but not tuned yet. The chips do have a basemap on them though for all the things listed above. And yes the wires are in the correct order.
So my timing is good but my plugs aren't sparking. I have tried putting the stock cap and rotor, plugs, and plug wires on but still no spark. Do you all think that it is the coil or the ignition module? Let me know if there is anything else it could be too.

To me it sounds like someone added a new Trunk lock cylinder and that is why you have two keys. In other words the only way to get a second key is to get the one out of the trunk and get a copy of it.
Cool man. I understand. I still really did not want this to become about the future 450whp build. But anyhow I am off to do more research. Catch ya later man.
I have never driven that car at 650whp the boost was turned down and I don't know how much horsepower it was getting. Look though Blanco it is kind of insulting to me to just expect that I am a completely unintelligent newbie. I mean I do understand the weight to power ratio and everything...
I did when you told me to the first time but I am getting the vibe that you are telling me that I have everything that I need besides the actual experience. Well there is only one way to get that right. To experience it. Thanks man.
I think that you are getting the wrong idea of me man. First off I have taken a ride in and drove an integra that does 600whp and only ways 2100 lbs., so I do know what it is like to ride in a light weight to high horse power car is like. It is one hell of a rush. Secondly the topic from me...
