Please explain, if you don't mind. I'm learning as I go.

I did the math and I've spent ~$2,000.00 since I bought the car. If I fix what's wrong now, it's still going to look like hell and have 200k on the engine and a really bumpy ride... Someone please tell me what I have to do to get it running, so I can sell it and be done with this mess.

Just had the fuel relay replaced on my 91 dx for a problem I'm assuming wasn't related, and something new's come up. It died on my way to my girlfriend's house yesterday, and I was able to start it back up for a few more blocks before it happened again, but now when I turn the car over it won't...

It was the main fuel relay. Runs fine now.

Will do. I'll probably just pay the diagnosis fee and try my hand at it once I know for sure what the problem is.

I give up. I'm bringing the car to honda on monday morning because everyone I talk to gives me a different reason for the problems.

No responses still, well, that sucks. The little copper washers were warped I think, so I replaced them in the fuel filter, I can't figure out how to get to the fuel pump to replace it, because the car still isn't getting gas half of the time, even to the STILL leaking filter. Any help would be...

Ok I found a write up, and went ahead and replaced the filter first, so far the car is starting fine, but no matter how hard I tighten it, it's spraying fuel from the outlet on the filter.

I've had this car for a while now, and though it's gotten me from Kentucky to South Florida without incident, ever since I bought it, there would be times where it just wouldn't start for anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. I could never figure it out, I'd just go back inside and try again...

I've got a 91 civic dx, didn't come with a tachometer installed, so I bought one. Can anyone tell me where to connect the wire that goes under the hood to make it work? The package said to connect it to the negative terminal of the ignition coil, but wtf.

That'll help a lot, I got it all hooked up now, but it's doing some odd things. I'll take a look at it again this weekend. Thanks for the help.

I just talked to a friend of mine, he gave me an idea of which wires went where. I think I'll check it out in the morning.

I have wires, just no harness. Well, I have the harness for the new radio, of course.
