Just read your z6 writeup. That block looked fantastically clean, I'm amazed. Also, I was surprised of how much stuff you had done to your motor and car. I am quite impressed with everything and how it looked. Makes me wanna buy a si hatch and do the same.. too bad im only 17 and make five...

So, in other words, I would need a 5th gen z6 ex/si head, si throttle body and intake manifold, and the d16 cam gear? Or would I also need to swap the ecu? Do you know what kind of power numbers this would push out? I'm guess a bit over 100 hp and 95 tq... which would be quite nice for me :)...

I have a buddy with a white 89 civic std, only one spot of rust on front fender, that run son 3 clyinders. I had the exact thing happen to my car, and it turned out the be a bad exhaust valve so I know how to fix it. The car has 91,000 miles on it, four-speed manual, no options. Included two...

Does the z6 and the d16 out of the 4th gen use the same bottom end? Could I, then, put the z6 head on the d16 block and save some $$$ or are the oil passages different because of the higher oil demands VTEC has? You got me thinking more in the ways of a d-series swap than just the camshaft...

The center console I speak of I have seen in some Si hatches. It enhouses the e-brake handle, an armrest at time, and the shift boot and mounts flush with the front climate control and radio console. Perhaps this wasn't an stock option and the person I saw with in got it from an integra or...

I'll be happy to take the d16 head off your hands along with the inatke manifold, tranny and ecu if you are not going to use it. My civic needs a new head and my 4-spd tranny sucks. And i'd love to experiment with the MPFI system. Maybe we can arrange something... thanks and good luck

wow i bet thats gonna be a fun peppy little car when your finished with it. how hard is the swap compared to the B16 swap? and the price difference? i was thinking about that lately but it probally wouldnt happen until i find a really good deal on all the parts i need.

oh, in that case then, id rather have the si manifold. :) thanks for the info man, i thought they used the same manifold on both motors.

I know alot of you guys with hf crxs and si hatches like to swap out your motors and such. well, im a poor dpfi kid whos just getting into engine mods and id like to mess around with your intake manifolds/throttle bodies/ecus if your not gonna use them. let me know if we can arrange something...

yeah i got a hatch and would drive quite a while to pick one up. id only pay shipping if it was a sweet deal. how much do junkyards charge? besides, i doubt id have anyone realistic idea of the shape the engine would be in.
