i have a d16y8 ready to drop into a non vtec eg, i need to drop it in fast so i was wondering can i put it in and run a nonvtec ecu to have it at least running? i dont really care about the vtec at this point bc i can always pick up a p28 later, but for now can i run it that way? thanks guys

why do i use my stock harness? to run obd2 i already have the harness and ecu for the y8.. im confused

so basically i have an obd2 d16y8 that i want to drop into my obd1 civic, what is the easiest way to tackle this? i do have tha engine harness and ecu for the d16y8, should i convert my car into obd2? or keep it 1? ive been told i can transfer over my CX obd1 dizzy/alternator/and engine harness...
