okay im back with a new project.did the mpfi swap and now im looking to do a head swap with a z6.what do i need what will the wiring be like and how do i do the vtec wiring.recap on what i have:d15b1 block mpfi swap.would it be worth it if i just dropped in a d15b vtec block in it?i need a write...

i did the swap and if you read the walkthrough correctly it doent tell you to rewire the dizzy from the ecu,you just run the C spliced wires to the dizzy cut the plug then connect the remainder and the colors do match up

i say go with it.there is too much d and b series swaps.i am in the works on building a k killer.i have a 99 vtec accord motor,i need an h22 head,and need a b series tranny.from what i understand these bury k series.but anyway i say gor for it.

how come my car losing power?when i shift it stalls then picks up speed slowly if i not pounding em???update on what i did: d15b1 engine,with mpfi swap,5 speed tranny swap,d15b7 camshaft.im wondering if the camshaft is the problem??when i had the 4 speed on it it had a kick now it just moves...

i swapped on my d15b1 the dpfi to mpfi,went to a d15b7 cam,and this weekend im swapping from 4 to 5 speed.the mpfi swap i noticed little difference,but,when i swapped the cam,now the car kicks really hard.hopefully when i swap the tranny i can feel the power cause the 4 speed tranny sucks with...

what does that mean,base timing?will the dizzy fit?

i was wondering if i could stick a b7 cam instead of a b2 cam in my b1.some say you cant but why not?dont want to swap the motor yet,cause im just tweaking this motor a bit until i drop in a f22vtec.so what cams would fit in there without swapping the head?

problem solved...mpfi swap was sucessfull.i recommend doing a head gasket change before the swap....

i finally swapped my intake manifold the correct way with no ecu codes.i found the main problem with my car,it blew the whole head gasket,i never seen a head gasket that bad ever.changed it had fun with exhaust manifold,now i just need to jump start it and find out if it works.i hope it does...

some say you cant swap the 92 d15b7 distributor in place of the 88-91 si distributor.i dont see why you cant.if the wires match then why cant you just de-pin or splice the wires.if anyone has ever accomplished this please let me know cause i am having a hard time finding the si dizzy. 91 d15b2...

okay i finally found the problem...i did the mpfi swap and ive been getting all these problems.i have the wrong damn dizzy...i put the 1.5 of an hf i thought it was a 1.6.its mpfi so i thought it wouldnt be a problem,but,it is.gas is flooding the spark plugs and aint firing.could a 92-95eg d15b7...

as i said in the other ef place,my b2 took a crap.im swapping motors and here is the pieces i have,d16a6 block,d15b7 block and head,and a crappy d16b6 head.i was thinking of the a6 block with the b7 head?(probably the one ill go with)...or b2 head on b7 block?(doesnt sound too great)someone let...
