i just want to verify the vavle clearence specs for my b16a1
.15-.19mm intake
.17-.21mm ex
(my manual only has b17 im pretty sure its the same can anyone verify this)
i want to use my old throttle body on my b18a1 because the adjuster screw on my b16a1 isn't working is it possible to just swap it
are they both the same size?
is there anything i would need?
is it just me or does this seems like people are getting more than i've seen people post about this on the forums normaly. or maybe its just because im getting the same issue too

93 = basic-super in nj
94 pretty common in nj
100 if you want it u can get it from a pump u just need to know where to go in nj
i only use 93 or higher in my b16
i've had my b16 for about 6monthes now and for about the past 1 month its been giving me a hard time when i try to start it..it starts but it takes a few more seconds with the starter
what could the problem be?
it only happends when the engine is cold..when its warm or i've been using it...
mine did this as well with my pr3 but for some reason the o2 sensors were backwards
i switched them and it worked fine(just switched the wires)
just try and unplug them and see how your car runs when there unpluged. make sure you reset your ecu
this might be related to your o2 sensors
are you running 2 o2 sensors? was the ecu you got with ur moter made for 2?
to test and see if it is.. unplug ur o2 sensors and reset your ecu and see if it still happens
umm about the idle ...my b16a1 does the same thing
idles at 1000-1100 and if i touch the gas pedal and let it fall it falls to normal and goes back up to where it was
and i can't fix it!

problem fixed...i reversed my o2 sensor wires and the engine runs great now
.....i don't even know why i had too i had the jdm connectors and they only fit on one way ...out of the 4 wires i added was one o2 sensor wire and it was suposed to go to the other o2 sensor i guess but i didn't relized...

becasue i also notice that some times when i gets rough when im just idling it will pop it self back up and sometimes hold it self as high as 1100rpms..
but it idles at 800 around i can't tell exaclty with my tach

ok i swaped my b16 into my da about a month ago now...and its been having one issue with the moter

i notice that my b16 has a leak near the head gasket below my vtec solenoid and distributor
i duuno ifi ts from the distributor or solenoid but its sitting below them
also i've noticed that i have more oil consumption when i do alot of highway miles
