Is there a free website that checks vins? Although Im positive its legit, could run it just to see what comes up.. I met the guy, saw the car (looked like it got hit by a freakin train) and it was pretty out in the open. It wasnt in the back of a chop shop or anything.. lol

So I should just chip the OBD1 p28 that I have stock with my Civ (to gsr spec)? Another thing I heard somewhere but is it true that the obd2 b18 will 'run' with the odb1 p28- ie leaving my current ecu in? Not meaning long term but simply startup and be driveable? Thanks for the welcome...
