I thought I heard that somewhere, is it possible to match the resistance of the injectors w/o changing to OBD1. Do you know the difference in flow rates from the Si?
Okay I got an intake, rail, injectors etc. from a civic ex, I'm pretty sure it was the SOHC VTEC (there was no head left on the car) and I got the throttle body off of another D series MPFI civic (bolts up fine). I'm just a little worried cause all of the conversions that I have seen have the Si...
So the PM6 won't controlan auto? Wadda bout the PW0 or PR3 SOHC VTEC ECU's. or could I just run a P28 auto ECU. If in the future I swapped out the tranny for a 5 speed would the automatic ECU still work??
Can a manual PM6 be switched to run an auto tranny?
Thanks for the sites! Does it matter if the ECU is from an A/T or M/T.
Is anybody positive one way or the other if the OBD1 manifold and injectors will work with the PM6
If I were to convert to a PW0 or PR3, could I use the ECU with just the MPFI conversion, or would it be wiser to convert to VTEC at the same time too. Also, I have an intake setup from a 94 EX OBD-1 in order to use this do I have to use the P28?
Does the ECU conversion require a different...
I have been doing alot of research trying to prepare myself for converting my 89 civic DX into MPFI. I have gone so far as to scavenge junkyard for parts for the swap, however I could not find an 88-91 si. What I did come across is a 94 civic EX which I assumed was the same because it is D...
I have an 89 civic DX hatch and was trying to get cheaper hp rather than swapping the whole motor can I swap the non v-tech head for v-tech and swap the DPFI for MPFI. If anyone has done this or knows if this can be done any help would be great.
