My brother traded rims(twisties) for a PR3-4 head that has an TD87U dizzy. Is that an itr head or just b16a with and r dizzy? Also the guy told him he just threw in skunk2 cams? The cams look new but Is there way to tell? Any identification so he knows exactly what he has?
My cousin just dropped a B18B1 of a 98 teg. He's using PR4 OBD-0 ecu
and having a code 4 that doesnt go away and car bogs and backfires when he gets close to 3k rpms.
Could it be that his sensors are made or OBD 2 or is there something wrong?
My cousin took his head in a they charged him $275 and went to another shop to price on dropping in B16A pistons in this LA block and they want $250. I think he over paid.
Me and my cuz are gonna start the project. We have a complete B18B1 and a B16A with a rod stickin out the side. Can we use the water pump and B16 crank,piston,rods(new)? Would that give up the high reving motor that a stock B18 wont do?

Car starts up and drives but when it gets to 3500rpm it acts like revs like redlining and cant go further. P28 ecu, D15 Block, P08 Head, Y8 IM, Dizzy td42u.
