Update So i finally got my wheels on yesterday, and boy its a huge difference. The car rides much better. Also it is so much easier to turn (no power steering) and the Kumos grip great. I will post up some pics tonight.

How can you tell if your flywheel is to light or not balanced? I get a little clutch chatter right off the line, but thats it. It 8lb too light?

Yeah i know, it came with the motor along with the DC headers:D But i hope to be able to use it soon (cams or LSV)

WTF? i am just relating to this guy. As we have the same car/engine and letting him know that it cost more than 5-600 dollars to go LSvtec and but he can do cams/bolt ons close to that price.

I am in a simular situation you are in. I have a LS in my CRX as well. Its kinda quick, but i want a few more ponies under the hood. You dont need too much to get these little crx's going. I am debating the LSvtec or cams/retainers. But i want it to be all motor, it adds insult to injury...

Yeah i bought it all new (lugs, tires, wheels). 625 with tax. The tires are around 50 a piece, i could have got cheaper tires but i didnt want shitty tires.

What:eek: Where? I searched for months for the best price, and this is the best i could find. I thought 400 for slips is average and 200 for tires and 25 for lugs.

Did the sale of the stereo go through? It looks like it should fit into a CRX right?

Well i am upgrading from steelies to slips this weekend. I picked up a set of 15x6.5 slips on kumo ASXs. I wanted the wider tire, but it was on back order. Oh well I got a good price 625. I will post up some pics once i get them on.

Update! I ended up getting the Kumo ASXs, i just got them yesterday and getting ready to throw them on this weekend. I ended up getting a set of flat black slips with kumos and lugs for 625! I cant wait :D

Yeah thats what i was thinking, and i cant even find a pic to see what it would look like. I might go check them out and see if i can just remove the paint and maybe clean em up. I just thought there would be someone out there with black blades

haha, well from what the guy said. They are painted very shitty. I guess someone stole his car and painted it and the rims. Then it was recovered :confused: I just figured i can get them powdercoated black, but wanted to know what it would look like.

Hey, I found a guy selling some GSR rims that were painted purple??? Anyways, he is selling them for cheap, and was wondering what they would look like if i painted them flat black. Any body have any pics, i tried a google image search with no luck.....thanks.

no luck. Its a verizon phone, and not in service. Looks like they are out of business, wonder why their site it still up??? Right now i am talking with some guys at jbl motorsports, seems like a ok shop. They keep trying to sell me some AIR brand wheels instead of slips though???

What type of tires are you running now? 20K seems ok for performance tires as well.

I know performance tires do not offer any type of warranty besides defect, But how many miles are you getting out of your tires? Let me know what type of tires you are running, how you are using them, and how the treadwear is. Thanks:D
