i am runing pr4 pistons in my ls vtec ,runs great. but i need cams and vtec tranny. lol Ls tranny makes gears too long.but those piston will work fine. pr3 or p30 would be alot better.

after one of my ARP rod bolts snaped. I got a new set installed yesterday. put the bottom end back together.the bolts all torqued to specs at 26 lbs. the worst thing is that i will be running pr4 pistons,long story i got fucked on the b16 pistons,so i got to run these to get the car moving.i am...

with type r cams ,retainers and my set up. would i get 8,200rpm with constant power though the rpm band???

don't plan on spinning to 9,000rpm 8,000 should be fine when dynoed and camed going to be my daily driver

Heres a couple of pics of the 8 mm arp rod bolt that snapped.

I was putting the pistons in my ls vtec when i went to torque the arp rod bolts and 1 of the bolts snaped at 25 lbs. these bolts are needed to make ls vtec stronger.but that bolt snaped like butter.anyone ever hear of any problems with these bolts.also will the pr3 pistons work well in my ls...
