92 civic with jdm d15b. will not rev past 4800 which is when vtec is supposed to kick in. i put a different ecu in where vtec was supposed to kick in a 5800 and thats where it stops reving. both ecu's chipped to not look for an o2 but still throwing o2 code. should i just run it into a wall

whats the differenc in d15b pistons and d16z6 pistons

ive got a d15b and i want just a little more power out of it. im leaning away from going turbo only because if something happens im screwed.

is it worth it to put a z6 head on a d15b block

i put a d15b vtec motor into my 92 civic lx but even with the ecu chipped, vtec wires hooked up correctly, and motor running perfect, it wont rev passed 4800 rpm. any ideas?!!!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
