my name is scott and i have a 96 prelude with a h23 in it. i just have a few questions about the internals of the the h series engine. i know they make type s pistons for this h23 but is there a differnce in compression with a type s usdm or a jdm or is there even a is it just a type s piston...

I have just reciently found out that the type s pistons are the high compression pistons for these engines, but are they for the h22 or the h23? but.............. does any one have any info on the type s stuff out there like the cams and the pistons for a build of the high compression...

yes that helps a lot. but i reciently found out the answer between the pistons but i am looking for a spec. on both the pistons in a h23 engine specs for a h22 piston. like piston to valve clearence the compression ratio and hp possible made specs for type s pistons piston to valve...

ok ya have a h23 vtech. i was planing on doing the h22 head swap but found it was not worth it so i only have a h23 non vtech. and u never answered my questoin about the pistons. my question was about the pistons not the engine.
