umm, this is a little late, but what exactly would i need too switch a d16z6, with a d16y8? can i just take out the d16z and put in the d16y with no problems, or will i run into problems? :unsure:

has anyone ever tried a d16a1 block w/ a d16z6 head? does the d16a1 have more torque than the d16z6 block? or does the d16z6 sohc head give more horsepower than the dohc d16a1? i know that the d16a1 has about 98-113 horsepower and the d16z6 has 125hp stock but if you put the d16a1 mixed...

dont forget your intake manifold gasket.. check hondata.com for your gasket., they have a gasket that will keep heat from your head its about $60. it will give you cooler air.... :D :thumbsup: skunk2
