i have a 91 honda civic hb. it has a d15b non vtec, if i went and took a head off a 92 civic with a d15b vtec, what all would i have to do to make it work? I just want a vtec bad, haha. but i dont have the money ir know how to do a full swap.

I hate to break this to you. but its either your head gasket or you cracked you head. The same happened to my bronco II. Im glad it happened. cuz now i got a Honda :) But if you take the cap off, and put coolent in it. it will blow right out of it all over the place.

well i want a vtec, so i would have to go with 92+ motors. woild that still work? and would i have to go a 5 speed transmission? or could i drive it with a 4 speed for a little while? and how much would a transmission cost? all i can find are automatic trannys.

Good or bad? My oil is burning bad. so i have to switch engines soon. and i foind one for 600 but then i would still have to get a new transmission and stuff. id like any help i can get.
