ok here is the deal,my buddy has two crx's both si one is a 89 si with a b18c gsr motor and trans,,the other is a 90 si with a b18a1 and ls trans..so he said he will give me the ls motor and trans and the shell that the gsr is coiming out of if i help with the swap both cars run in their current...

i can handle that lol ive done a few civic manual b series swaps..but NO notching of the frame is required for the b series auto to go into the rex?

lol no one? i thought i read somewhere a while back the frame had to be nothched?

dont ask my why lol just need to know if a b seires ls motor will work in a crx when mated to a b series engine,if so is their anything special i need to know:p thanks

ive rewired 2 seperate race cars,plenty of n2o satups,megasquirt,etc..so im fine with the rewire to mpfi,what i need to know is if this intake will work? not sure what it came off of? all my buddy told me is its non egr,its their any #'s on it that will tell me? or can anyone tell me for sure...

first of my 90 rex 1.5 dpfi has a weird condition that i cant duplicate it will start fine for days,then all of a sudden out of nowhere it will crank but no start,like its getting no fuel?? my buddy mentioned something about a lean start relay? its deffiently like something not letting the pump...

AND for future refrence the axle nut is 32mm

that shouldnt be a issue cause im swapping the harness and ecu from the other allready swapped car,right?

allright as luck would have it,a freind of a freind...has two crx's both swapped the one he is currently driving has a ls motor/trans with bolt ons,and the wrecked one has a gsr motor/trans swap so.......the deal is if i help him swap the gsr into his rex i can have the ls motor/trans i also...

i ve got a 90 crx auto that ive got to change my drivers side axle,im sure ill lose a litlle ATF,so how do i drain and refill this trans? and i use Z1 fluid right? ive read that ill need a 36mm socket is that for the axle nut itself? lol seems big for such a lil car:eek: thanks in advance,steve

thanks ikar! ive been pondering the ls swap,cause i can pick up a ls equipped teg stick for pretty cheap,so buying a whole donor car would be the way to go then right? will the fuel lines/pump from the crx work?

i have a 90 crx dpfi engine,just oredered all the bolt ons,trans was just rebuilt 2 years ago and shifts nice and firm...is their anything i can do ECU wise to raise the shift points a bit,,and get a decent tune at the same time?
