I was thinking of rebuilding my vx's engine. I was wondering how much it would cost to rebuild myself on average and how much on average for someone else to. I no there's no power in those engines but I enjoy getting 50+ mpg

If this is a repost im sorry. I have a 05 Civic ex coupe, and ive been dying to swap my engine out. Price limit: $6k. That pretty much rules out the k20a. I want to know the best engine i can: 1.) Put a turbo in without any drawbacks and 2.) work on to hopefully get 300+hp. pretty simple...
