From what i'v gathered most people just leave that hole empty. What I pulled out was Hi Temp Silicon. I sent my block to Darton for Sleeves and I guess they put it in there. It makes sense, that rubbery Silicon would absorb Harmonics. So I ended up putting Silicon back in it:rolleyes:

Look at this Pinout, then check out your Chassis Harness and your Jumper. Your Knock Sensor Locations are Circled Red. That obd2a would be the same location on an obd2a LS. If it's blank on your Chassis Harness, then it would be simple to wire it into C3 on your obd1 connector side.

Bad PCV Valve could cause this. It would also be most noticable when putting Load on the Engine.
