I know that
MY engine is now running Fuel injection Vtec from a D16y8
and the lower block which i found out froma recently Crankshaft replacement is a Standard D15b Carburetor block .
i did nto notice any strange light coming up , beside the day when the Crank pulley fall off and the Battery...
I just got my Civic 94 . What i know is that is a Carburetor upgrade with D16y8
And now is a Vtec fuel injection Civic . running on ecu 6X i think ..
few days go i manage to go under it and can;t find any O2 sensor .
The pile had been redone with new 4/2/1 header.

you are right . seem like D15b alone have about 3-4 model .
and i did manage to find another one that is the same .
what i notice is Mine on the Piston Arm " 3 "
and the larger one on the piston arm it say " 6 "

i got a new crankshaft from the junkyard . in perfect condition .
the only problem i notice is that
"a " and " b " the size on the replcment Crankshaft i just got is Much larger by almost 1-2mm larger .
is it normal ? or better ? or did i get...

Mine seem to have a larger Diameter of point " a " and point " b "
i try to fit it with the old crank bearning and seem like it too small .

i am replacing the Crankshaft .
and got a new one today .
While fitting i find that the Bearing inside is too small ?
The crankshaft bearing need to be larger. almost 2mm i think .
Any idea anyone ?
i also got new timer Belt . The seller gave me Honda City Timer belt is it the right one ?

Which ECu and which Head should i be using if i want to greatly Improve the MPG ?
The civic was a convert from Carburetor to fuel injection from the last owner.
i am thinking to mod it so i can get better fuel eco .
any good suggestion on doing so without losing too much power.
While going out on a ride today . if i recall correctly i was driving toward a redlight and ai heard a loud banging sound near the engine . thinking i hit some kinda stone or a reflected pebble . i drove for another 100 meter or so before i notice the battery light came on . and the engine...
I am seeing other saying there get at least 30 - 35 city and 40 + up for high way . so i am thinking if it the ECU or some kinda problem related to the Mod .
