If I run p30 pistons in my GSR with the thickness of OEM 3-layer headgasket the compression will be about 11.599. If I went with a 1-layer headgasket the compression will read 12.272. Is it safe to go with 1-layer gasket or should I stay with the OEM 3-layer? Also with that compression...

Here in Hawaii there's no dealers that deals with Hondata. It would be difficult for me to have my car tune. Or is there still a way I can tune my car?

It's a rebuilt starter that's only a month old.... In excellent working condition. Asking $175/offer.... I don't need it anymore because my GSR tranny went bad so I replaced it with a s4c tranny that had already had a starter with it.

I also got mine at a good deal I think... $355 brand new, intake and exhaust. What type of chip should I use with the CTR cams? :huh: Hondata, Mugen, Skunk, XS, etc...

I did the swap with the s4c tranny on my gsr. It pulls much quicker than my gsr tranny. On the freeway, the rpms runs almost the same when I had my gsr trans. 3000 rpm - 63mph gsr 3000 rpm - 63mph s4c Actually, I'm pretty happy with the swap. Pulls much harder now. :D

Thanks Paul! That was pretty much the main reason I wasn't sure which tranny to go with. I've heard the S4C tranny was weaker compared to the S80 tranny. With the S4C tranny, what is your top out speed? Did you actually lose any top end compared with the S80 trans?
