    your gonna gain roughly 30-40 hp with a stock greddy or edlebrock kit, but, there is a reason for this. Their built for what, 50% more power over stock. Their psi is around 5-6psi. Theirs been many people that are running their stock motors at 7-8psi safely, but with a highly tuned engine...

    Question regarding prelude short shifter

    or you could visit some of the accord sites and find out how to do a DIY short shifter in your accord. My bro did it to his accord using some parts from Home Depot. Worked very well. Total cost=$5.

    I'd check the exhaust manifold if you have the stock one. But if you don't, i'd check it anyway. My bro's accord manifold cracked and made that exact sound.

    Just for further knowledge, you can also wire the indiglos to your ashtray light. It only comes on with the dash lights.

    swapping into my 1992 cx

    From my understanding, all 1992 model Honda Civics are pre-wired for vtec. As for the o2 sensor, you will have to convert to 4-wire by running the other three wires needed as i have a 95 and did so.
