13's with a DOHC ZC all motor at low altitude is not all that hard with the right set-up - the first thing you will need to do is get it light (and i mean light) - you need a ZC/Si hybrid transmission and some kind of LSD - you will need the right tires - don't worry about doing anything to the engine at this point to make more horsepower - you need to get the car to a point where it will handle the horsepower it already has - we were running 14.3s at track elevation of close to 6000 ft. with completely stock DOHC ZC in 1710lb (with driver) 89 STD hatch on slicks - easily mid 13s at lower elevation - without getting it light, you will not be able to get enough hp out of it all motor to run 13s
