I have a 88 crx with a b16. I have the motor at top dead center and i took the cap off the distributor. the rotor is pointing at he total opposite of the 1st cyllender. How do i change it to the right timing? I took off the distributor and i tried to rotate it 180 degrees but it looks like the two prongs wont fit, they look offset from the center. Is there any other way to set the timing without taking off the timing belt(which wouldnt be the most fun).
Thanks

u would have to take off the timing belt.. make sure both cams gears are on the up position... when its at tdc... see if that helps

should look about like this at TDC.
