1993 civic d15b vtec

i just bought a vtec engine and it comes with a tranny. im wondering if this tranny will work on my 89 dx hatch..?

are all the 92-95 series trannies hydro? did these engines come with any jdm cable trannies? how can i find out if this tranny is hydro?

To get the tranny to work you will need to get a cable to hydro conversion.

the jdm d15b engines are awsome... i just ran a 15.6 w/ a 2.5 60'... my crx weighs in at 2300 w/ me in it... my first time ever at the track, will be back for more =)
