On a serious note, there are several things in your description that raise alarms.
    • 1998 Prelude into 1994 Civic requires an OBD swap; was it done correctly, and who performed the swap?
    • 87% tread life? This number is too specific
    • Also, what brand, model, and size are the tires?
    • Same question for the 18's
    • What is the aesthetic condition of the car and the swap?
    • When was the timing belt last done
    • Suspension, brakes, intake, exhaust?
    • Spell check and proof reading go a long way

any 20 year old honda, regardless of mods, is $2800. swapped? $2800. turbo sohc? $2800. Bone stock with $120k miles? $2800.

I really think you're generalizing too much here. If you look at book values, you're kind of high for a stock 1994 Civic EX in excellent condition for a private party sale. But, what it really comes down to is what the buyer is willing to pay, and that has a lot to do with the promotional and sales skills of the salesman.
