how do u guys go about replacing the header to an aftermarket one? U know, since the header has the cat on it? what cat do u use to go along with an aftermarket header?

ummm, the cat unbolts from the exhaust manifold and the header only replaces the manifold in most cases

a lot of them have the cat as part of the header
in this case replace the header and exhaust nd get a normal cat or test pipe it

Um no, not on the 96-98 dx's. they have the cat right ON the header.
