Made the deal on Tuesday, my neighbor delivered it to the house on Wednesday, with a 6 pack of Fat Tire buckled into the passenger seat. Signed all the paperwork over a beer at my kitchen table.
3 year lease (technically 35 months as the dealer covered all the upfront costs, including the first payment), 12000 miles/yr and the payment came out to 282 + tax.
After a few days of driving it back and forth to work, I'm pretty impressed. I'm gonna need a day to screw around and figure out all the voice commands and infotainment stuff. My only complaint is that we haven't been able to figure out the goddamn homelink garage door remote. We have the same problem with the minivan, which is also a Chrysler product. I suspect the issue is on the Genie end of things though. Gonna try to figure it out tomorrow when I have more time.
It's not gonna be good on gas, but I only work a 4 day week, and my wife has a 12 mile round trip commute so we'll do some trading off. The power is impressive. Not sure if it's just because I'm accustomed to a 110 hp, no torque civic, but 370/395 makes quite a difference. If you need to merge onto the freeway or pass someone, you just hit the gas and it's done.
I'm interested to get some opinions from you import snobs, good or bad.
