8.8 earthquake in Chile

The chilean gov't is pretty good at handling earthquakes. They have had the largest in record times and acouple other large quakes. They also have alot of urban search and resque teams trained to US standards. I'm pretty sure they won't outright ask for help; instead using thier own resources and drawing some foriegn finacial aid. just IMHO.

Also, unlike Haiti, their buildings aren't 99% mud and straw (the other 1% being human feces).
