My friends and I bought a 89 CRX that already had a b16a motor in it. We had no idea what kinda car the motor came form just that it said b16a. We thought it came form a Del Sol, so we bought JG Edelbrock headers, Victor X manifold, fuel rail, regulator, injectors and such for that car. The headers fit with minor mods but only had one O2 sensor hole. The stock headers had 2 O2 sensors. We were told that only JDM b16's come w/ 2 O2 sensors. So we made our own holes. It worked fine. Then we installed the manifold, rail, regulator, and the injectors(well not really). The edelbrock manifold had all the same connection points except for this sensor thing that is round on top and said UP and the connector for the PCV from crank case. The rail and regulator fit but the injector plug harness from the engine didnt fit the injectors bought for a Del Sol. The car runs but the idle will go up and then down really low. When you open it up in runs great. Can anyone help us figure out the problem. Why it idles so funny and then dies if not given gas.
